Oh to live on the beach!

We were lucky enough to have an entire week here at Fort Myers.  Our director, Joe, was even able to come out and see us and give us some notes on the show.  Our hotel was really nice and within walking distance to the venue... but nothing else!  Food was hard to find sometimes.  There was a place to eat near the venue that was a little pricey, so I only went once. But, check out what was on the sign!

So we went to the beach twice!  The first day I didn't think to wear sunscreen in January, and boy was I sorry!  I don't remember the last time I got sunburned, but I did this week.  The next time we went to the beach, I put that stuff on thick!

The only reason that we were able to go back to the beach was because our show in Jacksonville on Monday was canceled, so we were able to stay an extra day.  They call it a "Golden Day!" Which means no show and no travel!  It was so nice to spend the whole day in the sun!

So we get reviewed every once in a while.  Mostly they talk about the show, but sometimes they talk about us personally.  So, this paper in Naples, FL wrote a little article about the show and they actually mentioned me.  And then they compared my voice to Reba McIntire.  Seriously!??  Reba??! Not even close.  I say, "That was probably the only country singer the stupid writer could think of!"

Okay, one last thing.  So Julie is looking around on-line and finds a site...

Woody has a fan!  Oh my goodness, it is so funny!
