Wow! So, we finished our first show! It was crazy. We had been rehearsing 10 hours a day for the past two weeks in Amarillo, and we still got behind with all we had to do. We even were changing things like choreography, costumes, and even song orders, up until two hours before the show! I guess that's what happens when you start from scratch on a show. Luckily, nothing disastrous happened!
Apparently, the show that was on Broadway with the same name, was a flop! So when the producers got a hold of it, they completely re-did it. And I think it works really well. It is a lot more upbeat and conversational then the Broadway show. It is so much fun to perform. I am the dance captain for the cast since the choreographer can't travel with us. Everyone is so talented. I feel blessed that I can be a part of it all!
And by the way when we come to Nashville in May - we'll be at the RYMAN! How cool is that! In the show that's where Johnny and June (me) meet, so it will be neat to perform there. We have a new itinerary. I will post the official route for everyone in a separate posting. Check it out - tell your friends. The rumor is that if the audiences really respond to the show, then we may even travel to Korea and China to do some shows!
I can't wait for someone I know to see the show. Tomorrow, two other guys and I are going to four different radio and TV stations to promote the shows in Lubbock, Texas. That should be fun. Hopefully I won't say anything really stupid!
Now, I am off to Wal-Mart to buy a pillow for the bus. And maybe even one of those blinds with the suction cups for cars, to keep the sun out. I will try to keep you all updated. Thanks for all your support!

Hey
Hey girl! Well, I'm so happy for you. You have such amazing talent, and I'm glad the country (and maybe even World) are getting to see that! I can't wait to see you at the Ryman. This could be your first of many trips there. Love you and have fun!
