Hey Hey!!

So after the last blog we switched hotel to one that is closer to teh city center.  Then we walked around the city to look at different trekking companies.  We found one that seems too good to be true so we booked with them.  We leaved tomorrow for a 4-day trek to 2 villages.  \We will bike, kayak, walk and have elephant rides during the 4 days.  We leave tomorrow and it should be pretty cool!  We also had our first massage of the asia trip.  We each had a traditional lao massage for 6$ for an hour!! Yeah Asia!  and then we went to the night market to look at the products.  THere are lots of nice things but we dont want to buy and have to carry for 2 months after that!  Then we saw the girls that did the trip with us from Vietnam and we went to a club with them.  It was pretty funny as there was a band signing traditional Laos music.  Pretty good overall!

Today, we took it easy in the morning and then hired a tuk-tuk with 5 other people to go to the famous waterfall around here, the Tad Kuang Si watefalls.  They were pretty nice indeed.  There is a big one and a series of little ones with pools where you can swim in.  The water is turquoise and it is pretty nice.  We also could jump from the waterfall.  We also hiked to the top of the big waterfall to see the view.  There were also several asian bear in captivity at the site.  There was supposed to be a tiget but apparently it died a month ago :S!  Then we got back to the city and went to the market to buy a some delish food for dinner!  and now here we are.  More news when we get back from the trek.
