Hi all!

so it has been a while that we have kept you updated but we were away and internet was not so easily accesible!  So we are now in Laos but I will make the respective entries so that the map shows the right locations that we have been to...

So Halong Bay was pretty good. We got picked up from the hotel early morning and then drove about 3h30 to Halong City. Then we boarded our boat and we were a group of about 16.  The boat was exactly like in the pictures, very nice, which we were not expecting.  Unfortunately, it was pretty foggy so we couldn't see the view that we had expected from the postcards but it was still pretty awesome to be on the boat. So We had lunch as we boarded the boat and then went to see the famous caves of Halong Bay.  It was pretty cool as they added multicolored lights all over the caves.  IT was very packed with tourists tho so it was quite the circulation through it but still pretty cool.  After that, we went kayaking through caves and lagoon for about an hour which was also pretty awesome and  Then went swimming.  We saw some floating villages as you have seen on the pictures we posted. OUr group on the bus was really cool so we had a lot of fun.  The boat staff tried to make us sing at night karaoke style but didn't work so well on us westerners. The next morning, we had breakfast and started sailing back to the harbour.  We stopped again for a swim which was really nice cuz it was so hot.  Also, on the second day, the sky was clear so we could see all the rocks sticking out of the water.  We took lots of pics but I'm afraid they don't do justice to what our eyes saw.  After we arrived to the harbour, we went for all you can eat food included in the price of the cruise and then headed back to Hanoi to catch our night train to Sapa.
