We finally made it to Bangkok after a long 16h of flying!! It was pouring rain when we arrived in Bangkok but it stopped by the time we got to the hostel. We were exhausted by the time we got there as it was 7 am for us and we had barely slept on the planes. The temperature is HOT but thankfully our room had AC and we quickly turned it on!!

The next day we explored the street where our hostel was, Silom Road. Pretty busy road so we kept busy for almost the whole day. We went shopping quite a bit and Sean found himself some pretty sweet leather sandals for pretty cheap. Words for the Pattersons...we went to a mall that was completely filled with golf stores...so many that we couldn't believe it!! We tried the food stalls on the street and it was DELICIOUS. After dinner, we went to the public park where we found massive groups of people exercising to techno music and an instructor at the front showing a routine. It was pretty funny!! The park was also filled with exercising device made of metal and free to use. After that, we went to the night bazaar to look at more shops and then made it back to the hostel.

So far comments on Bangkok:
Pretty modern, or at least our part of the town was. Also, TONS of 7/11, one almost every block, it is pretty insane.
