Sous a day,

Many tourists in Cambodia fly between its two largest cities, Phnom
Penh and Siem Reap. It's quick and gives a good aerial view of Ton Le
Sap Lake. Those that drive overland get a treat. A view of life in
the country that otherwise would get missed.

One of my friends
works at the hotel we use in Siem Reap. He moved there from the
country to make a better living. He likes it. But his brother decided
to stay home

001 The road to Siem Reap

. I asked why. The family is poor there, yes. But his
brother is happy. He doesn't have the same concerns: paying for
rent/utilities, getting groceries/meals, maintaining the motorcycle,
etc. His family has enough and their lifestyle is enjoyable. Many
people are moving to the big city for a better standard of living. But
for them, quality of life is more important.
