Newcastle Waters Camping Ground

Our first stop was Devil Marbles. This is amazing how nature can form the rocks to look like circle stones. We spent there a good hour wandering around and climbing the rocks. This is a good place to visit and also stay for the night as there is camping ground area available for a small fee.

On the way, we passed Tennant Creek. It is a reasonable size mining  town and mostly Aboriginal people live there. We did not want to stay there as our target was Mataranka.

We stayed at Newcastle Waters Camping Ground. It is a small place and when we arrived at 3.30 pm we were lucky to find the last available spot. We could experience there the most beautiful sunset in our entire life.
