The day that Pantea's Dad Bahman, arrived we took a trip to Keukenhof Gardens which is the world's largest botanical garden, located in Lisse, Netherlands. We thought this would be a good activity to help fight jet lag and we were happy that the plan worked! Surprisingly, the park is only open 10 weeks out of the whole year. We were lucky to have been able to visit during peak viewing season. Driving to the park we hit lots of traffic and soon realized that this was just a testament to how amazing the gardens really are - a must see if you're ever in Holland during April or May. The place was enormous and we spent many hours exploring the numerous flowers and displays and took tons of pictures. We also really enjoyed learning about the whole bulb fields industry and the optimal method for growing tulips.
