We spent the days skiing and at night we went to the pool/sauna/thermal baths of the towns 'Hallenbad.' The 'healing' thermal waters of this region are the original reason the area became so popular... they were discovered in the 15th century when a duke from Styria (Frederick) came here dying from a gangrenous wound..
Internet access continued to be a problem here... we did find the one and only internet café which was owned by a very nice man named Simon. The two days we did not ski we spent a few hours there enjoying surfing the web and Simon's yummy homemade desserts and coffees!
Our apartment here was very conveniently located... equidistant from the ski funicular and the pool/thermal baths. We also had a kitchen (similar to our accommodations last week) so we were able to cook up some great meals! We really like having a temporary home base and wish our original plan of getting something long term had been an option... but since it is not, these type of apartments are a good alternative.
