What I did

Our first destination today is Shilin (石林) (Stone Forest). It is an area of natural large rock formations closely pack together that it seems like a forest of rocks. Unfortunately there is no view point where we can see the whole area from high vantage point. The rock formation is incredible but because you are seeing from near, you can't feel the majestic impact of the area.

After lunch, we went to 九乡, which is a natural cave(s). This cave is huge, the largest I've visited so far. I'm not sure if it is consider a single cave, or a lot of intertwine caves. But its huge.

The visit ended with climbing 300+ steps to reach the cave exit. If you cannot make the climb, you can pay 50 RMB for people to carry you up. Give some tips, its really hard work for them.

We ended the night with a performance 云南映象. The performers are all by native people (少数民族).
