Miles so far: 1225

I 76 Toll - $14.00!

Pit Stops: 1

Number of cows and cornfields: Lost count

Total Gas so far: $107.75

We went from Sea Isle City back to PA last night and  headed towards Indianapolis.  We left the house at about 9am and started down I-76 with that massive toll of $14!  The cool thing about it is that you drove through the Appalachian Mountains, literally.  We went through about 4 separate mountains and still had cell phone service in them (yet I can't get service in Dracut ever). Western Pennsylvania and Ohio pretty much had cows and cornfields.  It looked like a sea of corn because they just went on for miles.
There was some pretty sketchy strip clubs and adult only places off the highway stressing the fact that they had truck parking.  No, I didn't go into any of them.  Also we entered the Bible Belt, so every couple miles, there were giant billboards about Jesus and Heaven (one of which was placed next to an "Adult" Mature Fantasies sign).  Cows were everywhere as well, one of which was mooing at John and I while we pumped gas.
For the record, a truck tire popping scared the hell out of me when I was driving.  It sounds as if a gun went off.  There was scattered tire rubber all over I - 70.
Lastly, as we left Ohio, we saw advertisements for a guy that really needed to change his name, Tom Raper.  We have seen some funny signs on this trip so one entry is just going to be devoted to funny street signs.
We got to Indy at about 8:30, Hitting Blue Springs MO tomorrow.
