You don't have to be a fan of rap music to know that there aren't too many good white rappers. It pretty much starts and ends with the Beastie Boys but who should I spy in Freiburg, Germany? Eminem, the guy who had that enormous and slightly risque song called 'My Name Is (Slim Shady)'.
To be honest I don't really know much about the guy so I didn't have much to ask him in our meagre three minute interview. The guts of it was that his real name is Martial Mathers, his mum didn't like him and kicked his ass out of home, he moved to Detroit, got a job in a burger joint, entered a rap competition and got a record deal with Dr. Dre.
He was in Freiburg to hook up with the German band Rammstein for a collaborative project and the big scoop is that the lead singer from Korn makes a guest appearance on his new album.
