I woke up for my last day in the Galapagos with mingled regret and relief - regret that I wouldn´t see such amazing animals any more, relief that I was finally going to sleep on land again. No more bashing into things when I tried to walk around!
Today we went to Black Turtle Cove on pangas. We saw lots of white-tipped coral reef sharks, green turtles and Noddy birds that follow Pelicans and eat the fish that fall outside of the Pelicans mouth. We didn´t see any Black Turtles, that differentitate from the green turtles in colour and the fact that their shells are like pins standing upright - if you brush your hand across them one way, they are fine, but if you try brushing your hand the opposite way, they are harsh and abrasive.
The best part of the trip for me was when we saw a mass of Blue Footed Boobies and Pelicans hunting for breakfast
Jessica found that someone had taken over $500 from her bag and was extremely upset. GAP have said that she could have her next tour´s local payment waived, but have written her a letter saying its her fault, even though they are the ones that have provided an unsafe vessel.
After the cove, we returned to the boat and said our goodbyes for the last time. Only William remained, as his tour lasts another three or four days.

Black Turtle Cove
. They circled around and then suddenly, as if someone had yelled ´now!´ torpedoed into the water ppppphhhhhhhhhooooooowwwwwwww! They reminded me of bullets, the way they suddenly zoomed into the water. Then, if they were unsuccessful, they´d circle and suddenly dive-bomb again.Jessica found that someone had taken over $500 from her bag and was extremely upset.
