I had a vivid dream of my dad two nights ago. I dreamt that he came to pick me up from my Redhill home with Gez and Joe in a small plane. It was his new toy and he wanted to show it to me. We were flying to his and Liz´s house but we ended up landing in the wrong country - not a real country, somewhere really strange. I was worried, saying, Dad this is a problem and he wasn´t fussed. Then, it turned out we were in the right country after all and we went to Dad and Liz´s house. The house wasn´t as it normally is, it was a very large bungalow mansion and Dad had taken to keeping a deadly, poisonous snake. He mentioned it in passing and I was worried and found myself face to face with it in a corridor. Dad had walked on out of earshot and the snake and I eyed one another. It started to strike and then a little 7 or 8 year old boy caught it very causually by the neck within a metre of me and smiling, said, `its ok. You can get rid of the poison like this,`and squeezed a section of the snake´s neck 01 Eating at the Inka Grill restuarant

. Smoke came out and the little boy said, ´that´s the poison escaping.´

After this, I went to the bathroom and saw that Dad and Liz had made a big chocolate cake with chocolate fudge and white icing in the shape of a 1 1/2 metre crocodile. I had a piece. I woke up after then.

I walked to school contemplating the meaning of my dream and saw a boy of about 7/8 dressed as a dog, saying ´woof´and knew that it was going to be an interesting day. And sure enough it did prove strange. I told Yoni, one of my teachers about the dream and she said that it meant that Dad was going to get very good or very bad luck, as I had dreamt of a snake. Hannah, Mara, Luise and I decided to treat ourself to a luxury meal in the Inka Grill restaurant, one of the most expensive restaruants in Cusco. We drank wine and ate the most fantastic food and I had sauted pears in red wine sauce for dessert.

After dinner, we met up with some other people from Amauta for a night out. We went to a salsa bar called Mythology where you can see the most fantastic dancing and made the most of happy hour. I got talking to a Canadian bloke who kept taking the piss in a friendly fashion, out of my accent 02 Inka Grill - fantastic food

. After a while, I asked him to stop being patronising and we were fine after that.

We changed bars, to one called Uptown as its a bit more like a western club. We were dancing away when I realised I needed the bathroom. Unfortunately, the water supply had gone and so there was no way of flushing the loo. They smelt HORRIBLE! Feeling like I really needed to go I ran into one loo and tried flushing the chain and running out again. Not only did it not work, the smell was so strong I ended up throwing up the most expensive meal I´ve had in South America to date. I was gutted.

Another night, we decided to go to a kareoke bar! It was great fun although the bar staff kept ripping us off, I found out later. They´d write a bill for the whole table and give it to one person, and then write out separate bills for drinks and give them to individuals so that we paid twice. Despite the bad bar staff, we did have a laugh, especially when a couple of us sang ´Barbie Girl´. We were all women and so when the man´s lines came on we just paused. Then, we thought ´what the hell´and put on a deep voice and sang them anyway. At the end of our song, the rest of our crowd were clapping enthusiastically and laughing and the compare grabbed the mike away from me. What a night!

Today is my last day in Cusco and Mara and I are about to meet up with Hannah and Luise to watch the Da Vinci Code in a cinebar. I might not be able to update my blogg for a while as I´m headed for a ten day cruise in the Galapagos islands, but I´ll not forget to after the cruise! Chao from Cusco.
