I leisurely walk around Paris - My feet hurt!

Spent another day walking around Paris and although it was pretty cold (14 degrees) the sun was out! Today I saw the Arc de Triomphe, Champs Elysees, Grand Palais, Petit Palais, Pont Alexandre III, Les Invalides, Assemblee Nationale, Place de la Concorde, Champs de Mars, Eiffel Tower and Pantheon. I'm feeling the cold which I had not expected based on May’s weather from last year so I was on a mission to find another jumper. I ended up at the Galleries Lafayette which was sort of like a Westfields. They had so many great shops and clothes that were all reasonably priced, only problem was that they are selling their summer range. Too bad I can’t send a suitcase full of those clothes home. Anyway, while I was there I went to La Tour Montparnasse which is a massive tower that you can catch an elevator up to the 56th level to get a view over Paris. It was really worthwhile since when you go to the top of most other places you miss out on seeing the monument you are standing on. Since I wasn’t interesting in seeing this building it allowed me to see everything else. On the roof there was a helicopter pad and it was so windy! Went back down into the enclosed viewing area and did a 360 degree walk around the edge and read the history behind different locations that could be seen. Later I headed past the Eiffel Tower to the Liberty Memorial which is above the entrance to the tunnel where Princess Diana was killed. Along the edge of the tunnel roof there are messages inscribed to Diana from people across the world. With my legs sore from all the walking around I headed back to the hostel, via the supermarket and picked up baguettes for dinner.
