Every single one of my trips has to begin with some kind of drama and less than 12 hours before I leave for a new adventure, guess what happens? Luckily this one turned out ok but could have gone so very very wrong!

Having to work *sigh* is such a chore, but as the only way to fund a travelling lifestyle, we have to put up with it. The perks of my job include internet access, and a printer! For this trip I had decided to save some money and only carry hand luggage, and also try out online check in. Couple of things to note for online check in. First of all, you really need to print your boarding pass (this is why I left this til Friday after work to do), also you need to know your confirmation number and passport details (which I had cunningly left at home) These last two I didn't know. No problem, I thought, I'll log into my hotmail and access the information that way. My IT department had other ideas, as they have blocked hotmail. AAAGGGHH.
I went to the local internet cafe on Dean Street to access my email - no problems there - but then I got to the next stage of the check in process...you need your passport details.  AAAAGGGH. After paying an extortionate amount of money for 3 minutes, I headed towards the bus stop, thinking if I stop off at home I can make the library before it closes. Before I met my friend Suki in the middle of the street, who gave me a rundown of her weekend. Never a chore but I'm on a tight time budget here....
Anyway, to cut this story short I managed to print my boarding pass (for a princely sum of 20p) and disaster has been averted! Now, here's to waking up on time....in 3 hours.
