So we are indeed in Hué, after getting the night bus from Hanoi, the bus stopped at one point for a tyre change. Very odd.

By the time we got here it was raining and about 8am.
We ran around like madmen, with two other girls who are headed Laos-wards, (one of them was in our year at Leeds doing pharmacology, small world) and ended up at the first place we started, due to buses elsewhere only being on odd days...

We wandered around Hué, by now it was roasting and not the least bit raining, decided we didn't care enough about the citadel to pay the entrance fee and soon we shall eat tea!

Tommorrow at 7.30am we shall go to Laos where the electricity is intermittent and the internet dubious, so don't worry too much if you don't hear from us for a while
