We left Ko Samui at stupid am to catch the first ferry of the day to the mainland.
We were picked up from our bungalow by a minibus and driven to Na Thong on the other side of the island where we were put on a much larger bus and then driven to the ferry pier, where we got off the bus and onto the ferry.
We slept on the ferry Samui-Donsak.
Donsak pier- Surat Thani we got back on the second larger bus and drove for quite a while until we got to a cafe.
At this cafe we waited for maybe 40minutes for a third bus to take us to Krabi. It was very confusing at the cafe as noone wanted to help us, just sell us more tickets. We got a lot of stickers indicating our destination throughout the day.
Minibus took us to Krabi which was like 150km away and when we got there, we got dropped at another cafe to wait for 40minutes to get onto another bus/sangalethaw to take us to the last ferry.
The ferry Krabi-Phi Phi was delayed and hot but took us not too long. We got to Phi Phi (say pee pee) at about 5pm and abandoned our belognings on the beach, half of us (we were a 6 by now, 2 irish, an american and a sweede had joined us).
We checked in everysingleplaceonthewholeentireisland. Most were either full or too expensive. We ended up in the Tara Inn, no air con, bathroom smelt like wee, sheets of dubious cleanliness, infact just not clean not even dubious, just dirty. All ours for 7pounds/room/each/night.

Ko Phi Phi is definatley a good place to party. We partied somewhat a lot, the thing to do is to drink out of sandcastle buckets but we managed to source a whole housebuilding bucket, which was much better value between 4 people. The main night we went out with was the second of the nights we were there we went out we ended up in an irish bar with our bucket (see pics) and watched Ireland win the Six Nations. Reckon we are pretty much fully fledged Irish by now we spend so much time around them, we even know the words to the Irish Rugby song they have (shoulder to shoulder etc), which is more than we can say for the English one, (is it Swing Low sweet chariot or is that cricket?) Anyway it was a good night that we finished off by partying on the beach until the wee hours (the red bull they put in the drinks here is like rocket fuel I swear).

We spent the our time on day 1 there relaxing, had manicures and pedicures as it rained for a little bit. Infact when we were out that night the road we lived off of flooded!
The next day it was well up to about 40*C, I (ER) sat in teh sun for maybe 10minutes and burnt somewhat, was lethal. Just too hot to do anything, was sat reading in the shade and the sweat was dripping onto my book. Hiarious.

The best thing we did on Phi Phi was snorkelling. Wowee. we booked a half day trip 1330-sunset to go see the sights on a long tailed boat, a boat with the engine on the back and a massive propeller on a stick coming out of it.

The snorkelling was amazing, I have never seen so so many fish, so many different colours and sizes, it was amazing. Amazing.
We bought some disposable waterproof cameras so hopefully they'll work out.
We went to the beach where "the beach" was filmed, Leonardo Dicaprio didn't show though but it was very beautiful. We saw the sunset from the water and the pictures show just how beautiful it was.

We were exhausted after the day of snorkelling but had to pack as we were leaving PP the next day, the Irish girls had to get to Bangkok to get to Aus for a year so yet again we lost some travelling buddies!

We decided to go to Phuket next so booked onto the 9am ferry to head for Kata Beach.......
