The Great White House Excursion

Hey it's Emily again. So we have just traveled from Warm Springs, Georgia to Washington D.C. Oh my gosh, the drive up was horrible. Hailey and I got into an argument, and McCaela spilled ketchup on the seat of the rental car and unfortunately, we had no napkins. It was so smelly. When we got there, we stepped out of the car and it was freezing cold. We booked a room at the Hyatt for a few nights, but we found out they were running out of rooms so instead of two, we all had to share a room. We were all kind of ticked off. We then stayed in the lobby and warmed up by the fire before planning our next move. Finally warming up, Hailey called and booked a tour of the White House. We drove down there and got ready to go on our tour. When the tour guide led us into the East Room of the White House, he told us that Lyndon B. Johnson signed to Civil Rights Act of 1964 in this very room. He proceeded to tell us that the Act outlawed forms of discrimination against racial, ethnic, national and religious minorities. I was really interested in everything and I was sort of sad to leave. As we were driving back we became so exhausted. We just got to the hotel so, I'm going to bed:) goodnight!
