Hey guys, its McCaela. So today Emily, Hanna, Hailey and I drove out to the Indianapolis International Airport for our scheduled flight to Dallas, Texas. As we got to the airport, Hanna spilled her Starbucks coffee on her shirt. Of course we all laughed, with the exception of Hanna, who threw a couple of dirty looks our way. As we boarded the plane, a male voice boomed over the intercom. He preceded to explain that the plane was having some technical difficulties, so the flight was being delayed. After some girl chat and some peanuts being spilled, we finally took off. Raising the window, I looked out at the clear sky with the clouds spread out beneath us. The sight was breathtaking, but it was disturbed by very loud laughter. I turned my head to see what the commotion was about, and to my horror, my bag that was stowed away above my head had spilled its contents into the aisle. Embarrassed, I scooped them back into my bag and giggled along with my peers. As I finally started to relax, I dozed off into a restful nap. What seemed like hours later, Emily shook my shoulder, startling me from my hibernation. Grabbing our bags, we started walking towards the exit. Disoriented and tired, we stumbled off the plane into the lobby to get the remainder of our luggage. Walking outside, the air was thick and hard to breathe. The sun was beating down and I could have sworn it was at least 100 degrees even though it was autumn. After renting a car for the next few days, we drove to the Crowne Plaza Hotel in downtown Dallas. We checked in to the hotel, grabbed our door keys and went exploring. Realizing that the huge pool is open and vacant, we run up stairs to grab our swimming clothes and have some fun. An hour or so went by and four exhausted people emerged from the pool room, drenched and wanting sleep. We dragged our feet to our rooms, put on our bed clothes and almost simultaneously dozed off, awaiting the next day. Well that's it for now, I shall give an update tomorrow! Over and out.
