Well today was a blast!
We woke up and checked out of Kokoro and had Filico and Luca join us at the butterfly observatory.  The workers at the observatory showed us how they preserve and maintain the butterflies and how they keep the eggs, larva, pupas and the butterflies.  They number each butterflies wings so that when they die and they find them on t he grounds they can approximate their life span.
We went in the different caged areas and saw the butterflies feeding on fermented fruit.  they landed on  us and we took many videos and pictures (see below)
After seeing the different butterflies, we went and saw the different frogs and learned about their life cycle and saw the tadpoles etc....

We left the observatory and stopped in Nuevo Arenal and had the best burgers ever at this little cafe.  The boys played checkers and i wrote in my journal as we had a nice view of the lake from the restaurant.

We got back on the road and stopped at CooCafe for Cappacuino again and got back to our drive back to the coast.  as we circled around the lake there was a rainbow that went from one side to the other.  first time i ever saw a complete rainbow.  It was amazing.

We made it to the Milagro rental office with 2 minutes til 6.  We got out key and went and dropped our stuff off at the villa.  We changed real quick and decided we wanted to drive about 45 minutes out to the Rui Resort and Casino.  Oh my was it out in the middle of no where!

We finally made it out there and it was definitely like a little city and grande vegas style.  we walked around the hotel and the grounds trying to decide if we wanted to eat there.  we didnt want to spend the money on their ridiculous buffet so we opted to go in one of the sports bars to get something quick and easy.  well as we walked in this man came up behind us and was like " um excuse me you cant be in here you are not guests"
We had no idea.  Apparently you have to get a night pass at the front desk which is 50 bucks a pop and then still spend money in the restaurants.  He said we could gamble without one but couldnt be in the hotel without it.
We walked over to the casino and it was tiny for the size of everything else and no one was there and their dealers were so rude....

We decided if we were gonna gamble at a tiny casino we might as well go back to the one in Coco and be close to home.
When we got to Coco we ate at the restaurant at the Casino over looking the pool and had a very yummy dinner.  Afterwards we went inside to the blackjack table.  There were a few old men in there that we had seen the night before when we popped in and some scantily dressed girls in the corner who had been there the night before.  they werent playing so we could tell why they were really there.  we were cracking a few jokes about that.

We played blackjack for a long time and we were all up.  we had a little system going of taking turns in and out of hands.  Later in the evening some guys from denmark that were staying in Coco came and played with us.  one of the made a ton of money and kept telling me he loved me since i was cutting all night.  Their casino was alittle different where the dealer doesnt deal its last card until everyone else has finished hitting cus they dont have the little machine to slide the corner of the card into it to read if its a face card on potential blackjacks.  i wonder how that effects our odds.

They closed the casino early and we were the only ones gambling so i guess we werent enough to keep it open.  we went across the street to meet up with the guys from Denmark and their other classmates and i danced a bit with some of their chic friends.

We left and went home and i was having so much fun i stayed up a bit and swam in our infinity pool under the stars.  great way to end a great day.
