Concarneau is a historic walled city. You can walk along the ramparts or go to the little shops inside the walls. The ramparts provide a nice view of the city, while one of the shops inside boasts a giant lion made entirely of chocolate on display, as well as Marianne (the woman who is the revolutionary symbol of France) surrounded by cannons made out of sugar. We had some delicious ice cream here, and were happy that no one seemed to be charging anyone the .80 euro the sign said it cost to go up on the ramparts. Other than that, not much happened.
