Before leaving Hungweh hot springs we enjoyed another relaxing dip in the springs before packing back into the car for another day of driving.

Interesting Fact: Some of you might be aware that the island of Taiwan from the north to the south tip is less than 500km, but please do not make the same mistake us Westreners made expecting this journey to be around 5-6 hours. In Taiwan a travelling speed of 100km/hr might only be experienced in a plane during takeoff or landing. The roads on Taiwan's east coast hug the mountains and weave back, forth, up and down making the travel very uncomfortable. Needless to say we reached Kenting, one of the most Southerly towns on the island one and a half days after departure from Taipei.

Upon arrival we quickly forgot about the car seat imprints on our rear ends as we were dove into the Pacific Ocean's powerful blue waves. From here on in we knew we were living it up in paradise.
