Hello guys !
This week, I fell in love with one of Toronto's attractions: High park! It is Toronto's largest park and it's the perfect spot to relax. You don't feel like you're in a big city anymore (except for the part of the park that is next to the highway!)
I can hear you say "A park is a park, what is special about this one?". First, it feels so good see a large green area after 2 months of concrete! Then, it is not only a normal park, there are waterfront, a dog park, picnic spots, attractions for children, little restaurants, and more!
The most spectacular is certainly the free zoo inside! We can observe a huge variety of animals like llamas, wallaby, bisons, etc. The cutest were certainly the capybaras. I sooo want one now!
I could have spent all my day there, but we only stayed for three hours. It is pretty far from downtown, about 25 minutes by streetcar, but because of a Indian parade, we got stuck in the traffic and it took us 45 minutes !! Maybe one day, if I'm lucky and rich, I will get to live in High park's district!

On Tuesday, I had the chance to do something new. Nele, the girl who is leading Toronto's Islands tour called in sick. So, I had to guide her tour! It was really nice because 3 of the four people who signed up were from Quebec! I became friends with them: Felix from Montreal, Thomas from Joliette and Jean-Michel fom Beauce. In the tour, we have been to a "clothing optional" beach and, as the weather was really nice (about 20C,) some people were undressed!

Tuesday night, we also did something new! Gwen, the kitchen manager, decided to lead a haunted walk in Toronto's streets. I participated and it was not scary but I had so much fun because some of the guests really believed in ghosts and said that they could feel "sadness" and other weird emotions or even people watching them in front of particular buildings.

Wednesday, we had a big hiring clinic party were 43 young people were suposed to pass a interview to work with us this summer or with citysightseeing bus. I was there to help the other managers and welcome people at their arrival. I even had a official badge with my name and role on it!

Finally, today Jacqui just came back to work after her 6 weeks of vacation and we have been to the restaurant together so that I could gossip about what she missed! I did my last graffiti tour with her and was really surprised because we saw artists and there were a lot of new ones!
Tonight is Charles and I last pub crawl and it is supposed to be amazing! I guess I will talk about it in my next entry :)
See you!
