Hello guys :)

Yesterday, was St.Patrick's day and it was so much fun! People started to get drunk at 11 am and continued until around 11 pm. There was a pub crawl organised from 1pm to 11pm! Unfortunately, I could not go as I'm not 19 and I was working.

There were a lot of celebrations here, I was really surprised because we don't celebrate it that much in Quebec city. In the hostel, I had to host a Trivia game about Ireland where people who had the right answers could win green shots of tequilla! The day before I baked green cupcakes for the occasion and went to the grocery store to buy chips and other snacks.

Without the help of Charles, the cupcakes wouldn't have been cooked  because I didn't turn the oven on!!! (It was a complicated oven... ) He arrived at the right moment to save the situation!

We also had temporary tattoos for everybody, decorations and plenty of other stuff I can't remember! And of course, I had to clean up and wash the dishes after everybody was gone for the pub crawl.

I laughed a lot with my friends during that day, but most of them are leaving today or this week. I think it's pretty sad, because they were there since my arrival and I was getting really close to them, but that's the reality of living in an hostel: meeting new people everyday!

Oh! Good news: I got my first beer in an Ontario restaurant named St-Louis ribs (I even have a picture to prove it!!). You can be sure it won't be the last, even Jacqui, my boss, is encouraging me to drink here and she gave me two free shots the other day!

Today, My friend Luke and I went to the Rogers Center for a tour. It was really interesting as we got to see the lodge (starting at $6000 a game, no expensive at all!), we visited the media room and each floor. We learned plenty of information about its construction, the special roof, the team, etc. I bought a Brett Lawrie t-shirt :) Can't wait to wear it !

Tonight it's free dinner in the hostel, see you later!

Are you well make party for St.Patricks ? Did you see too much green ? The St.Patricks is more celebrating than in Québec apparently.

Hi Émilie :) Do you like your experience for St.Patrick in Toronto ? St.Parick should be different from Toronto :P

Hi , why do you think that St-Patrick is so much important in Toronto but not in Quebec? Are these two provinces so much different?

St.Patricks is more celebrated here because it's a bigger town and there are a lot of Irish people here! We also have plenty of Irish pub, so I think that's why :)

How much it cost a beer in this country? Does everything cost more than in Quebec?

the st-patricks in other country was bigger than the Quebec. Do you return to Toronto in the next year ?
