As recommended by fellow travellers at the farmstay today we went on one of their organised tours into the national park. This involved visiting the spectacular Paradise Caves, trekking through the jungle (on one of the very few paths that has been properly checked for unexploded land mines) bathing in a beautiful turquoise river, and finally wading through mud and swimming in ice cold water into some fairly unvisited caves with only our headlamps to guide us. All the while learning lots about the history of the area. It was a really exciting and action packed day and we glad to get back to our dorm for an early night!
