After another run and breakfast today it was time to end our time in paradise.

Got the bus outside our hosteria to Loja the capital of this region and main transit point and got the 11.30 bus on to Cuenca.

Route was very windy and although road was good we both felt a bit ill possibly after effects of wine (are lightweights). Views nice and almost British greenery. Rain came in though and low clouds obscuring everything. We quickly became bored and just wanted to get here. Are too used to night travelling now. Finallly arrived at about 16.30 and bought our tickets to leave in a couple of days and got a bus into town and walked to find a hostel.

Settled on Hotel Milan near the market which is $18 inc breakfast not cheap but are having to adjust after Peru. Is nice though and have a great view from our room of the market and churches. City seems pretty big and nice and colonial (for a change). Is raining so are updating blog before venturing out tomorrrow.
