Had a lie in this morning before reluctantly getting up for breakfast. Then wandered around a pretty quiet Salta as everything seems to shut today. Eventually found internet to do a mammoth blog update and check up on next bits of our trip, insurance for our bag stolen (dont ask but looks like we might get nothing - watch this space but expect a fight!).
After tinternet walked to the Ballcarce area which is quite arty and touristy with a market on Sundays. Is near the desolate station and there is a museum there too which was ok. Had a relaxed lunch in the sunshine and felt like a proper Sunday afternoon albeit without the Sunday Times!
Were going to go up the cable car but weather was a bit too cloudy so after taking some night shots of Salta guess where we went? Yes despite attempts to go elsewhere to eat we went to the same restaurant - was an old convent and is in between San Francisco church and the main square - sorry still dont know the name!
