In Columbia at last!

We then head into the nearby border town of Ipiales which is pretty huge compared to what we were expecting. Some of the local men are staring at the women and blowing kisses which makes us all more nervous. However when we go out in town later we have no trouble at all and people are friendly are welcoming. We go to a nearby bar and have a great pizza and some local beers for about US$40 for all of us! Considering its a Saturday night the place is dead when we go home at about 2200
Am glad we did the border overland as it is quite exciting to see a different side to just airports and major cities.
