Met up with the rest of our group at the hotel which is posher than we are used to! Ben is our leader and driver and AJ another driver both from UK. Group is quite small - 13 in total which is good and from Oz, UK, Ireland, Sweden, Norway and Australia. Are told a bit more about the trip and then discuss our various responsibilities. Dave and I opt for security which means we get a semi-automatic each and bullet proof vests for when we are at border crossings. Think it is worth doing for these perks.

Go out for a meal with everyone to a local restaurant which was nice and found out one of our group lives in Wylam and knows an ex-colleague of mine - small world again!
