Got up later today for sunrise and just as we got out of the room the rain started. Rain doesnīt last long here so headed to Anakena as the sunrise was further north than we thought it would be yesterday. Was no good so headed east again for more views along the coast before going back to town.

Dave was pretty nervous at this point as England due to play its first match shortly in the World Cup. Fortunately a Chilean couple had a tv in their room and had offered us to watch it with them from 9am. Were not up when we got back so kindly Gonzalo set up his small tv outside for us to watch (see photo). Tiny screen black and white but better than nothing! Unfortunately had just missed the goal though! At half time we had to check out and rush down to town to get some money (from the ATM that didnt work) and hand back the car. Got back just after second half started and Chilean couple up so went to watch on their bigger colour tv. Still havenīt seen the goal though!

Back to airport we flew back to Santiago again a bit nervous about what was to come next.
