Arrived at Hanga Roa at about 23.00 at the smallish airport but by no means the smallest have been to. Were met by Gonzalez from our hostel (Kona Tau - part of Hostelling International) and two flower garlands which were hesitantly put on! Were given a mini guided tour of the main services in the town before arriving at the hostel very tired. Found it difficult to sleep was so tired but got there in the end. Definitely felt like the longest day ever and couldnīt believe were in Auckland this morning.

Are now 7 hours behind UK having been 11 hours ahead!
