We have discovered chinese fast food and are currently living off the stuff. You can get Dim Sum, Noodle Soups, ... all kinds of dishes and all for around 30-70p!
After a later start this morning (recovering from covering around 30km in the last two days), we took a bus along to QianMen gate and had a wander around some authentic market areas of Beijing whilst making our way down towards the Temple Of Heaven. Unfortunately, the main temple itself is currently undergoing renovations (as most of Beijing seems to be - probably in prep for the Olympics in 2008). Its going to be wonderful when everything is complete and scaffold free! We're in the process of planning our trip to Xian and the Three Gorges at the minute as we leave Beijing tomorrow, so watch this space.......
