Well, a hectic few days of packing up the house and preparing to leave Newcastle for over a year have drawn to a close.
We've spent the last few days packing up boxes, cleaning the house, finding a home for the painting, getting our stuff put into storage, .... and pretty knackered we are too!!
On our way down to Em's folks now (Hammersmith) for a night, this will be our "base" for the next few weeks until we go, although there are a lot of side trips as well!
