It's December-- the end of another year and the start of a new one. It's a time of reflection upon all of the things that have happened over the past 365 days and a time to look forward with expectancy of what is to come.
The following evening was jam-packed as well as I attended a thank-you dinner from Redeemer Church. It was held at a Mexican restaurant, and was for all of us who had volunteered in the media table ministry. Amanda, Stephe, Scott, and Michael were there from my west side evening team.
After dinner, Stephe and I made our way downtown to attend Miss Joelle's bowling birthday bash... it was a lot of fun- lots of strikes and spares, and matching argyle socks to boot!
On December 14th, we celebrated the last-one-of-the-year Bible study. It was an informal gathering filled with Christmas cheer!
David's Goodbye
On December 11th, I gathered with friends to send off our friend, David, who has decided that he has had enough of New York City and heading south again. We went to Motor City, had a few drinks, and said our goodbyes.
