Well I have just come off Fraser Island (the largest sand island in the world) which was so much fun (most of the time anyway!) We were put into groups of 11 each and told about the best things to do and how not to break the 4x4s that we would be travelling in!!
A really early start to get over to the island and as far up as we could before the high tide and we were given all our food that we would need for the 3 days. We became known as Team Goon due to the vast amount of goon (and beer) that we took with us.
There were a couple of drivers who pretty much did all of the hard work for the 3 days as there are no roads just lots and lots of sand. We did get stuck a couple of times but that just added to the fun.
We camped with one of the other groups that set out at the same time as us which was really convinient as our cooker blew out on the 1st night so we had to use thiers for the last night. Sand seemed to get into just about everything. We had a couple of Dingos around the tents on the 1st night which was interesting especially when 1 tried to put its head through our door! The second night we spent in a proper campsite as it was raining really hard and we were all cold and it was quite windy too so we thought that it would be easier to do that than set up on the beach.

Sorry for the lack of photos STILL - they take so long to put up online and i juat haven't had the time or the patience to do it yet. Hopefully I will get my act together sooner or later!

Thats all for now - off to Noosa tomorrow to visit the Australia Zoo and see the Surfing Festival
