This morning we packed up the car, had a cooked breakfast at the OK Cafe and walked around Tombstone. It was interesting walking around the shops and reliving the history of the town. We went to the Six Guns Saloon, where we were listened to the history of the town, and we watched some re-enactments of some historical shootouts in the town. We had a look in the Court House which contained historical items and writings from past years. Then we headed off towards New Mexico where we are staying in Truth or Consequences. The highlight of the drive was a Sheriff of New Mexico pulled Ellen over for speeding. Luckily she was wearing short shorts and skimpy shirt because he and his partner let her off with a warning. We arrived in TorC about 7.30pm - they are an hour ahead in time from Arizona and California. We went to the supermarket, then soaked in the natural hot springs at the hotel. These are beautiful as they overlook the River Grande. Whist we were soaking under the stars we heard a pack of coyotes across the river. We highly recommend certified Angus Beef tenderloin steaks - they are sooo tender and delicious!!!
