Well I can't study all the time....so I accepted an invitation to go to Karlstejn for two days. It was this nice little town just about 45 minutes outside of Prague. It has a nice castle on the top of a hill and some little shops and such below. It is a really small place and a good idea for just a day or two. The castle is High Gothic founded in 1348 that was used to house royal treasures of Charles the IV. There you are...a bit of history for anyone who is interested. But I think the best part of the trip was the drive there and back. The roads are curvy and nice...much better than our straight boring highways.

Well, take a look at the photos, and don't forget to sign my guest book and send me an email.

Czech Roads although scenic and curvy are not what you would call, maintained. Pot holes abound on these narrow routes of travel. It takes a steady hand and nerves of steel to navigate such roadways, but if you are lucky enough to claim these traits, you are in for a treat.
