Well. Vienna was great. Kat and I thouroughly explored every coffeehouse possible. Vienna is the city of coffee, and we drank alot of coffee. After the first two days we lost count of how many coffee shops we stopped at. We did go to the famous Sacher hotel and try a piece of the famed Sacher torte. It was tasty, especially with the special coffee to drink it with!

One of the highlights of the weekend was going to the High School of Spanish Riding and seeing the Lipizanner Stallions preform. In the words of Kat: "These are great!! The Lipizanner horses I saw in the US were the rejects!" The horses were amazing. Something everyone should see.

Another highlight was a sports festival that we stumbled upon in the gardens of the national library. There was a demo of modern dancing, which looked to be incredibly difficult. Think circ du soleil. There was also kids gymnastics tumbling, which appealed to the inner girlie in both of us. Even though we weren't the gymnastic type as kids.

Our time was spent wandering the city admiring the architechture, stopping for food or drink, and then a bit of shopping. (I love love love HandM!) We also manged to find two Irish pubs in Vienna, what are the odds?
