Today has been a long day.  It started with a bit of a lay in (till 9.30am) which was needed as I didn't get to bed until about 4.

I cashed some T-cheques and while I was waiting for Vera I stopped off at shop and bought some more clothes :-)  I was really drawn to pink today so bought a cute little pink skirt with tie-dye trim and a pinky top to go with it.  Very sweet indeed.

I met Vera and we had some breakfast.  We had a little walk hoping to get our nails done at this place that Angie recommended.  However it was closed on Sundays!  So we walked back and got ourselves a foot massage (much needed after the night before).  On the way we were talking about using umbrellas for sun shade and a few second later I felt drawn to a little shop which just happened to have little purple/pink umbrellas (nice syncronisity) so I got one and was a complete barbie girl :-)

Our massages were amazing, one of the best I've had here so far Garden Variety Emma

.  We both got a bit tripped out by it so were a bit floaty when we met up with my friends from Bristol (Clair and Kat)

We had a nice lunch and chat and then Vera and I headed off to Wat Pra Singh for some much needed meditation.  It was a very nice one today and I had a lovely lady come up to me and show me a way of sitting (½ lotus with hands resting together and thumbs touching) which was such a lovely thing.

Even more floaty by this time we went to Vera's secret garden which is a little oasis tea place with great cake (I won't say the name as we don't want the farangs finding this place :-))  It was a lovely place to chill, but we did get a bit nibbled by the insect life.  Price of being near water and plants.  Anyway the cake was fab and I had a lovely Java Plum shake.

Vera headed off then and I walked back through the sunday market. I bought some scarfs, which I've been meaning to do since I got here.  I got a purple one, a pink one, a blue one and a browny one. (all for 2 pounds)  Should cover just about every outfit I own :-)  The market got busy really quickly and it wasn't much fun as my feet were really starting to hurt and I was tired and hot by this point.

I got back to Nat's and am now going to grab something light to eat (maybe just a smoothie) and then bed.  School tomorrow :-)
