Didn't sleep that well.  Woke up a lot but did get enough to mean I'm still awake now at 7.30pm.

Anyway, no time for breakfast this morning as taxi arrived at 8am.  The ride was quite fun, met some others from the course but no-one really spoke much.  All feeling a bit quiet I guess, until we met probably on the course.

The place is great.  Really friendly people and the staff are fab.  Very smiley and helpful, and I never felt awkward at all.  Tea and banana was welcomed for breakfast and then we were off for intros etc.

First hands on stuff started after the morning prayers (in thai) which were interesting and helped to embrace the culture a bit more Wat Chai Prakiat
Wat Chai Prakiat
.  Morning was spent working on Head, Neck, Shoulders and face.  Then we broke for lunch (which was delicious veggie stuff) and a quite snooze/meditation.

Afternoon we started work on the back.  It's quite different from what I've been taught in approach and style but I can see the ideas behind it and some similarities so I think I'l be fine.  The workbook is excellent though and everything they teach is literally there in front of you to see.  Plus the teacher contact is great, like 1 to 4 or something so you never feel lost with anything.

Couple of people said they could tell I did massage from my touch, which was nice to hear.

Anyway, tonight I'm taking it easy and washing my hair, getting some food and reading my book a bit more.  Will try and get out and see some sights tomorrow maybe.  I'll see what happens.
