Here is a little more detail on the things I have done so far. I went on a 10-day safari that took me throughout South Africa. Just so many different places and feelings and ecosystems and topography...it is really way too much for me to put into words.
I had the opportunity to pet a cheetah in a reservation where they rehabilitate cheetah and certain kinds of exotic birds. I have to say my hand was shaking because prior to entering this amazing animal's domain, she thought it would be funny to show me what she was capable of and attacked a lawnmower. WOW! Cats in Africa don't mess around.
I would have to say that my trip to Knysa was probably my favorite simply because I had to opportunity to see so many different animals in their natural habitat
Went on a few extreme adventures as well. Did some zip lines through tree tops and had the opportunity to jump off the world's highest commercial bungee jump. It was freaking awesome. I sort of had a spiritual experience on the way down, but who wouldn't giggling at death at 90 miles per hour??? I did wake up several times in the evening kicking with a falling sensation still stuck in my mind.
Yesterday, I went out on a little whale watching and horseback riding just to calm my nerves a bit. The whales were as elegant and graceful as anyone can imagine. I almost wanted to go down and jump in the water and try to swim with them, but you would probably never hear from me again. Well, that's it for now. Enjoy the pictures and hopefully I'll have some cool ones after I go cage shark diving...if the funds prevail that is.

Another posing shot
. It is a lot different than going to the zoo. Driving down a trail and out of nowhere an elephant is challenging the vehicle. Pretty scary seeing one of the most powerful animals on the planet barreling down on your windshield as the driver is trying to maneuver away backwards. I can't say enough though. There was a special little appearance by a hyena. Apparently, there are only 8 total hyenas in this certain area that we were in and, yes, we got to see one. Went on a few extreme adventures as well.
