We were torn about leaving this morning, as we enjoyed the area so much and really wanted to explore some more.  After some deliberation we decided to move onward.  We had ground to cover to make it to the next destination in Herkimer New York.  We took a two lane highway through the mountains of Maine, New Hampshire, Vermont and Upper New York.  Clark was determined to make it to Herkimer so we could have a full day there the following day.  The drive was amazingly beautiful.  The rivers were high and rushing as we drove past several gushing waterfalls.  We only made the necessary stops for gasoline and ice cream for Audrey.
It was late at night when we found ourselves in places like Poland, Russia, Norway, and  Mexico all the while still in America.  Who knew one could travel so far in such a little amount of time and space.  We could tell we were in a very interesting place, but there was so much fog we couldn't really see much of anything.  We did notice the incline we were driving up towards our camp sight.
We finally found our camp sight around midnight.  The lady Ellen spoke to on the phone had attached a map to the door to find our spot in the campground.  We didn't want to wake anyone up at the hour so Ellen was going to walk the camp ground to find the spot before driving with the two vehicles and lights on.  After walking about a half a mile, she decided that they were on a farm and the campground was way back in the midst of the fields.  She came back and got the PT to find her way.  Good thing, as the camping grounds were quite a ways away.  Anyway, we found our spot and pulled in without hooking up and went straight to bed.
