We decided we would head out towards Cape Cod this morning with the remaining time we had left in the trip.  After calling the few campgrounds that have 50amp out on the Cape, we came to find they were all full for the next couple weeks, we ended up in Plymouth. (Rusty pronounces Plymouth with a long i).   That was fine with us, as we planned on exploring in that area as well.  So we pulled into the campground around 4pm.  When we went to check in she told us "CASH ONLY."  You think she might have shared that with us in the 2 phone calls we made to her.  Everything there is CASH ONLY whether you are staying one day or three months.  Anyway, it was a good place to get rid of the traveler's checks we had been carrying around with us for so long.  In the office there were at least 5 signs that read "NO REFUNDS!"  I think they really mean it!  We were also disappointed to realize that they DO NOT ALLOW RAP OR HIP HOP MUSIC UNDER ANY CIRCUMSTANCES!

We made it up to our site and Clark started to get us "hooked-up" when he realized that there was no sewage hook-up, only a gray water hookup (RV term for sink & shower water).  And the hook up available required a special fitting that we of course did not have.  So off to the office to see if they conveniently sell the fitting.  Of course they do, so Clark spent some more CASH.  When he was there he read a sign that said "Checkout Time 11am - Stay 1 Minute after and We will Charge You Another Day."  Clark would like to see them get the Cash out him for that!!!!!

In the midst of all this, the kids had found out that they have a large pond.  They also found out that the store had all the equipment including a pole to purchase so they could go fishing.  With great negotiating, the kids convinced the parents to let them buy their own equipment, so we could take them fishing.  So after Clark got the "hook-up" taken care of, he went down to the store with the kids to make sure they were getting all the necessary things for fishing including bait, etc.  Rusty paid with CASH of course and they came to pick up Ellen.

So, this was the kids first time fishing on this trip.  Clark taught them how to string the rod, tie on the lure, cast and reel in.  The kids were both attentive and took turns at casting out into the water and reeling it back in full of seaweed.  They only bought one pole and a fake night crawler.  Rusty became wide-eyed when the boy fishing next to them caught a fish or two.  He knew there were fish to be caught and he was determined to do it!  But dinner time came before he had a chance to catch his first fish.  He set his sights on tomorrow.

After dinner we made a campfire with the wood we were required to buy from them with CASH.  It did burn much nicer than the wood the night before.  The other rules are; the fire must be put out by 10pm with water, No paper or trash is allowed in the fire, No objects other than firewood are allowed in the fire, Oh and no TV or Radios are allowed on inside your RV after 10pm.  We felt like we had entered into the Twilight Zone of The Convent RV Campground.
