Today we woke up at 9 am and most of us are hungover.  We went for breakfast at the castle restruant where i ordered ham pizza.  Our table was facing the ocean it was so beautiful.  While I was eating I noticed a little boy standing below looking up at me.  He kept putting his hands to his mouth as if he was asking me for food.  I ignored it at first but then recognized the boy from the other day he was with the group of boys trying to get my camera.. he was a slave.  He stood there in the same spot looking up at me for an hour.. i felt horrible.  I finally decided to grab 2 pieces of pizza and walk down there.   There was another little boy sitting near him as well and an older wealthier looking man.  I gave each of the boys a piece and they immediately hid it in their shirts and would not eat it in front of me only when i wasnt looking.  I started talking with the man and found out that he is a university professor from Texas and he was born in Ghana and is here researching the effect of the new government on artists.  He was talking to the byos to try and get some information about them but they wouldnt tell him much.  We left the restraunt at about 11 am and got a taxi to the STC bus station but there wasnt another bus for an hour and a half so we walked to the tro station. Tom, Solomia, Capucine, Philipine, Flan and I found a tro that was actually pretty nice.  We arrived in Accra and then took another tro to Koforidua.  We arrived home around 630 and Barbara had dinner ready for us.  We had Chicken and Jelloff Rice but it was too spicy for us to eat.  Miriam felt bad and gave us a pack of crackers.  We walked across the street to a little store that sold snacks and we bought more biscuits and they had mars bars and mentos !!!!!!!! I am starting to get sick of eating chicken, biscuits, and plantain chips.  We had a new volunteer arrive tonight her name is Maddie from New York .  We all watched the World cup together and this was the first night i met Miriams son Clarince who is seven.  Spain won the world cup and he was so happy.  I am now getting ready for bed because i have my first full day teaching starting at 730 am but i am only working until 1 because i am going to the wood market with Tom and Solomia.
