Miles: 205
Weather: Warm and Sunny - 75

Big day today.  Left Thompson's headed over to fast Eddies for breakfast and then  on the road.  The road north was good and within about an hour or so we reached Delta Junction, mile 1422 the end of the ALCAN.  Bucket List baby. Scratch that one off!  Alex and I took pictures nosed around the Mile 1422 visitor's center and got back on the road.

The ride up to Fairbanks was easy.  When we got to town I called Gary to coordinate the link-up.  Gary is Tina's step dad.  He has lived in Fairbanks for about twenty years and owns an excavating company.  So we had a place to stay for a couple of days.  We wanted off of the bike.  We needed to wash our clothes and veg.  Tomorrow we would do some tourist stuff.

We were immediately surprised at how 'cosmopolitan' Fairbanks is.  It is a regular city with a Fred Meyer, Starbucks and a Harley shop.  So there you have it, a star bucks AND a Harley shop.  It's a real city:)
