Weather: HOT!

As planned (always a good thing on day one),  we departed at 0900.  The weather was warm and sunny.  The ride up I-5 started out  very well.  Not too long into the day it became unbearably hot.  The ride itself was uneventful aside from the traffic but the heat -WOW.  By the time we arrived at Julia's we were toast.   A quick jump in her neighboring lake put us back on track.

Our stay was very pleasant - BBQ.
