08. Koh Phi Phi
It actually made up of two island Koh Phi Phi Don and Koh Phi Phi Leh. Those of you movie buffs would recognize Koh Phi Phi Leh as the island that "The Beach" was filmed on. The island is completely surrounded by limestone cliffs that can be visited as part of a day trip. Don't think anyone lives there.
But as I said I wasn't there long enough to appreciate it. If I ever do come back, first off I'll make sure its before Christmas (when the weather is supposed to be great) and second will def make a trip to this part of the world again.
Koh Phi Phi Don is the largest of the two islands and is where everyone stays when in this area. There isn't a huge amount to the island.
17. Koh Phi Phi
Its basically full of resorts, bars, boat taxis (and their drivers annoying you every 2 seconds trying to get business) and not much else. The main reason that people come here is to dive. The dive sites around here are meant to be some of the best in Thailand. That was my reason for coming here too.
Ah well maybe next time!!!!!!
