Day 10 (Sat) Not the nicest day outside so we are postponing our picnic trip, we also woke up kinda late. Jerry, Dru, and I went to COOP to get food for the next two days because everything on our side of town is closed on Sundays. The store was packed I picked out some fish for Ti and I to eat on Sunday, I thought I was getting some fish that we didn't see in the states Merzulla. Well when I got back I looked it up in the translation dictionary, turns Merzulla means Cod. We also got some fresh food and you are supposed to weigh it and put a bar code on it that prints out. We forgot to do that and the lady gave us a crappy look and ran and did it. Then she came back and said, "I wish they understood so I could lecture them." I understood that but if she would have tried to lecture us I would have been lost. For dinner I cooked chicken with veggies in white wine, baked potatoes, and a simple salad with olive oil, Worshtershire sauce, salt, and pepper. The dinner was very good. We went out to a bar that some girls from our program were at it wasn't great it was basically an American bar
Day 11 (Sun) We woke up and did some cleaning because it was a crappy day outside. It was raining so we canceled our trip to Fiesole again. We tried some new prosciutto on sandwiches for lunch. Some girls form the other side of the river wanted us to come over and see their apt. and eat dinner with them so we left our apt. around 4, and the weather had cleared up and it was very nice. When we got there they should pictures of Venice where they had been the day before. Then they invited me to go to Rome with them next weekend. We decided to go up to piazzale Michelangelo to hang out and watch the sun set. During this time the Florentine soccer team was playing its last regular season game and they need to win to get into the champions league. Well they won and on our walk to the piazza people were running through the streets yelling and people waving flags on scooters and in cars. It was cool being apart of it, I now have a team to follow in soccer so I plan on buying a jersey. The view from the piazza was once again amazing. The clear sky started to cloud up off in the distance so it blocked the sun set but it was still pretty. On the way home it was more of the same celebration. We stopped at a pizza place the girls frequented and got all 6 types of pizza they were good. We hung for about another hour then we headed back to the meatlocker. On the walk back people were still celebrating 6 hours after the end of the game. We also designed a crest for the meatlocker not that any one cares. Meatlocker in Italian is armadieto di carne.

. I can go to those in the states I want to do what the locals do; I didn't take a 17 hour trip to go to an American bar.Day 11 (Sun) We woke up and did some cleaning because it was a crappy day outside.
