We also stopped in Dijon on the way down. The town center was really compact and picturesque As you can see we did the obligatory mustard tasting and had coffee and tea at their famous François Rude Square.
After a long drive though a lightening storm, we land in Lyon. We didn't get much sightseeing in because of all the rain, thus no really interesting pictures. We are disappointed since parts of city are UNESCO World Heritage sites. One thing we did see as we were driving around (admittedly in a shady part of town) is the area where the prostitutes hang out. Why it's interesting and even worth mentioning is they work out of vans and when they are not busy they sit up front in provocative clothing next to a full size candelabra. Yes, with real candles that are lit when they are looking for customers and it's dark when they are "working".
